Eileen worked for a major blue chip company in Liverpool before later moving to North Wales. She worked for Badgers Tea Rooms in HR and Management before moving into the Coffee Retail industry as a consultant to Waterstones.
She is now a Co Director for A.L.I.C.E Ltd, a community interest company set up to benefit the local community in Llandudno. She is involved in event management, tourism and has a real passion for Alice in Wonderland and it’s connection to the town.
I joined Marks & Spencer almost 30 years ago as a trainee and have spent time working abroad, in regional, divisional and various Head Office roles with the majority of time being spent in stores. I joined the team in Llandudno in September 2016 and I’m fortunate enough to be living close by in Penrhyn Bay. Myself, my wife and dog (Reuben) love Llandudno, County Conwy and North Wales and were made to feel very welcome from the start. I want Llandudno to continue to prosper and by Llandudno I mean the whole town and surrounding area. I firmly believe that for Llandudno to be successful it is far more than which big retailers are in the town, it’s about the diversity of offer and the independents as that’s what helps to make Llandudno different from other towns. As Chair of the Chamber of Trade I see a key part of my role as supporting all members of the Chamber to ensure that together we can continue to make Llandudno a great place to visit, shop and come back again!
Louise has experience of working for Corporate Companies Microsoft and Hewlett Packard, running her own businesses in hospitality and retail, and working in the charity sector. She is currently employed by Conwy County Borough Council in the Business and Enterprise team, promoting the benefits of the government funded apprenticeship scheme and project managing all aspects of the Conwy Business Awards.
In addition to this she provides business support to SME’s across Conwy County, partners with other support organisations, and collaborates to help to businesses gain access to resources that they need for business growth.
Nathan has been the Sales and Marketing Manager at St George’s Hotel over eight years, having previously managed hotels in Chester and South Wales. Nathan has recently been awarded Member Status at the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Dan is a trainee Accountant, currently working for Bodnant Garden Centre in the Conwy Valley, having recently completed a year working in the Bursary for Rydal Penrhos School.

In my role as Human Resources Consultant, I work directly with a variety of SME’s advocating and implementing HR improvements whilst continually striving to achieve business success through the alignment of HR with the overall business strategy. I provide advice and guidance on all HR matters including, Employee Relations, Recruitment, Organisational Development, Performance Management and Employee Engagement activities. I have 20 year’s experience working within HR and am truly passionate about driving business success through effective and innovative People policies.
